The business administrator role, businessadmin, is intended for those Web Conferencing users who are in charge of administering the Web Conferencing deployment. This includes users who are responsible for supporting the end-users.
By default, Oracle Web Conferencing does not grant this privilege to any user. Assuming that CONFADMIN is an existing user defined in the Internet Directory,the following command grants the role businessadmin to CONFADMIN.
Navigate to $MIDTIER_HOME/imeeting/bin/rtcctl
rtcctl > modifyRole -username "confadmin" -rolename "businessadmin"
Now, log into Web Conferencing as CONFADMIN: http://hostname:portno/imtapp/app/prelogin.uix
The following new tabs are visible for such a user having administrative privileges:
- Monitor tab
- Reports tab
- Sites tab
- System tab
